sparkywundermutt does either^^ btw i ride yamaha. personal preference....... personal choice........ but im not of the opinion yamaha are the greatest or any more REAL than other manufacturers...... FTW attitude's suck, not honda

How did you make that? Or where did you buy it. I'd like to do the same for my VFR.
-
Well, why dont you buy a Honda and Yamaha(which you forgot) and try em out!! You will find that all of the Japanese brands are equally reliable, but you WILL find that you like one or the others ergos or sercive procweddure better!
-
Well thats probably the same reason I say I like Kawasaki and Suzuki. Maybe they make all Jap bikes well, wouldnt suprise me.

Ok, if you said Harley Davidson I was going to puke lol. I see nothing wrong with Kawasaki or Suzuki though. I don't know why Honda sucks, because I've never had trouble with any of mine.
You will need: 1) One 12 inch Shepherd® Hardware Lazy Susan Bearing (9549) 2) One 12x12 sheet of 1/4 inch steel 3) Some PC-Metal epoxy (or simple weld) 4) Three 12 inch strips of 3M™ Safety-Walk™ Heavy Duty Tread tape, UPC 59512. The tape keeps the center stand from simply sliding on the smooth steel. The tape I got was a bit over 4 inches wide. Total cost to me was around $34.

Cool! I like it.
Is that just a square piece of plywood?
aerhearts 1 year ago
@aerhearts No. It's a 12x12 sheet of 1/4 inch steel epoxied to a 12 inch lazy susan bearing. The bearing is rated for 1000 lbs.

@HunterXray Ah, so the lazy susan bearing sits underneath the sheet of steel right on the concrete? Where did you get a lazy susan bearing rated for 1000 lbs?

I got it at Ace Hardware. The whole turntable cost me about $34 to make.
