Frequency is infinite. A numerical value for the speed of light is 299,792,458 m/s.
So not to be insulting but the simple answer to a not so brilliant question is, 299,792,458 + 1
In other words, it's merely energy that will transcend into a different form. Matter could be considered light in a static form. Disregard the various forms, refer to it as energy and you have a sound answer. Our understanding is merely limited by our physical senses which set no boundaries on reality just perception

the speed of a deformatio wave travelling along the length of a rod (axial acceleration) travels approximately the speed of sound, which in a solid rod is high, but many orders of magnitude slower than light. what i'd like to know is whether there's any delay in the switching of electron spin of entangled electrons separated by wide distances. it seems to me that the change happens much more quickly than the speed of light moving directly between the two. at least 1000x faster.

When you push or pull on one end of a rod, it takes time for the force to travel to the other side of the rod. The first atom pulls on the second, and only AFTER a few nanoseconds does the second atom pulls on the third, etc. This principle can be demonstrated with a slinky on the floor. Pull one end and it takes time for the force to travel to the other end. All solid matter has some degree of elasticity. It's just more obvious in a spring. Forces travel through matter slower than light speed.

you are right, quantum entanglement allows faster than speed of light, but, however, you are wrong at the same time, for example, you should always go back to the theory that nothing can travel faster than Speed of light, so, no "Usable Information" can travel faster than the speed of light
there you go, i didn't fully prove you wrong, i only gave you a new idea

Your basing your premise on the supposition that you have two points, when in actuality you have only one. You do not have a point A and a point B, you dont even have a point since the ends of the bar are not moving independently of one another. It takes one point to define another. A point without another is a singularity: undefined. Nothing can move relative to itself.

wow! there IS intelligent life in the universe!
watch out kid, you are questioning the Church of Relativity! prepare to be viciously attacked!

yes, information can travel faster then light speed.. this is known as quantum entanglement.. check it out

Matter cannot travel faster than the speed of light. Information IS NOT matter. Information is a medium, it has no density or mass and is in effect 'invisible'. Therefore the transfer rate or the speed of information cannot be associated with the speed of light.

@Weazelito O.o what is the answer that, I like that question...
What is wrong with this video? The guy is just asking an interesting question. Not asserting anything! I for one thumb up this video.

Keep asking questions, kid. You'll go far.
Darxrex's comment is correct, but I can add that the speed of the wave pulse would be the speed of sound through the rod. You'd have to be very strong and heavy to grab your metal rod and pull it a perceptible distance, considering how much mass it would have to be. You could get the same speed, but more throughput by hitting it with a hammer in Morse code.
You might get 6000 m/s through steel at 5 Kelvin, which is 0.00002 times the speed of light.
