Spring and Easter in Texas, is full of traditions.
Bluebonnets, (our state flower)line the highways and byways of our beautiful state.
This is also due to the efforts of First Lady Ladybird Johnson, who as an environmentalist led several beautification projects across the land.
Every year, moms like me brave the highways and take beautiful pictures of their spawn....whether they like it or not....(usually NOT!)

Another tradition in my state is beautiful christian music celebrating Easter.

This video is also a fan tribute video for the late great multi talented singer songwriter Keith Green whose ministry in Lindale, Texas was and is the model for christian artists everywhere.

Easter WOULD NOT BE EASTER without his music celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It will always be the soundtrack to every Easter of my teen and adult life.

I do not own any rights to his music.

All I need to know .......

I learned from the Easter Bunny!

Don't put all your eggs in one basket.

Everyone needs a friend who is all ears.

There's no such thing as too much candy.

All work and no play can make you a basket case.

A cute tail attracts a lot of attention.

Everyone is entitled to a bad hare day.

Let happy thoughts multiply like rabbits.

Some body parts should be floppy.

Keep your paws off of other people's jelly beans.

Good things come in small, sugar coated packages.

The grass is always greener in someone else's basket.

Luv ya everyone......Lisa Jane
