This sure looks like a fun place to beat my '87 S-10 Blazer senseless after I re-chip it to get more torque outta' that 2.8 V6 ... A lot of folks say it's a "Boat-Anchor" but the MPG that I get out of it is nice even in 4-low for hours on end and it only has 123K on it at th moment... I'm up in the N-E area of Tennessee( Kingsport ) and if you dont know someone around here with a large chunk of Property you just aint Off-Roading anytime soon. :( Happy Wheelin' Folks :)
It turns off to the left off trail 16. It is harder to spot the entrance since they chopped the trail up with those gravel roads. At one point you come to a gravel road, the sign points you up hill but the trail also goes straight ahead. Go straight. IF I am thinking right, the waterfall turn off is not far up there on the left.
Are you serious $10 for a map plus the riding permit. Most places will give you a map. Thats crazy! I'll be going for my first time this thanksgiving weekend so paying for camping riding permit now $10 for a map. What's next a quarter to take a crap in the john.lol
sweet. i went to ut to, graduated in 02. yeah i got some friends that kind of new to fourwheelin and were wanting to go. we may try and get together with you in a couple of weeks or something and go up there
haha yeahh. well i would really recommend trail 3. there's a tough climb at the beginning, but there's a bypass to the top of the hill. then a nice little rock garden (about 5:10 in the video) that can be a challenge sometimes, but still a lot of fun! Every tough section on trail 3 has a bypass if i remember correctly.
Oh, and unless you're going with someone who knows Windrock, buy a map!! haha. I think they're like <$10 from the office where you buy your pass.
awesome! i have four wheeled all my life but a lot of the guys that are wanting to go dont have a ton of driving experience. i just didnt want to get them somewhere they might tear up there jeeps. most of us are running stock susp with 31 mud tires.

yep. the video starts with 22, goes to 3, then on to 2 I believe. All 3 of which are good for semi-stock Jeeps. :-)
And this ride was the day after 3 straight days of rain. So it was extremely sloppy and nasty. haha
