  • @halokid130 If you read books on peak oil then who was the first to predict peak oil in the USA and when did it come to pass? When did he predict peak oil to impact globally? If you read books on peak oil then you don't retain or understand them bc peak oil is an ECONOMICAL term that explains how CHEAP oil is needed to further economic GROWTH. Currently the economy is not growing each time it begins to grow OIL prices rise forcing the economy back down. Global Peak oil has passed.

  • @cdltpx You seem like a really wise guy i respect that i see youre views on government politics and economy are really good i like youre idea for energy saving like using methane from sewage you should be going public and stuff dude

  • @cdltpx I do read books on peak oil but as long as i have a job a car and no family to takle care of i can keep racing plus is going to take 100 or 200 years for oil to be depliated and thats a very short time plus the 1 million years it takes to make oil so as long as their is oil ill keep racing plus a seen hole lot of terrible things on the the track and of street racing and if the world runs out of oil while im still alive ill just switch my nissan 240sx fuel system to an ethanol sy

  • The prius wins races where they count in the race to finical independence. If you have the means and can swing the note for the car you will not go wrong owning one of these cars. My favorite car was a 68 camaro we raced that thing all the time kicked some ass too. You grow up one day if you are lucky you realize that a prius will fully pay for its self in 150K miles just in fuel savings. IF not a prius get a fuel efficient something you can race when you are rich.

  • @halokid130 Read a few books on peak oil you might understand what is about to happen. Mrenergytzar is on YT he did a video on books that might help you understand what we are dealing with. I get it I use to go to the track with my brother. I also have been to the hospital when he has crashed. I am a professional over the road trucker with decades of safety training under my belt. I have seen too much out there to want to have anything to do with racing. Sure its fun I grew up had to happen.

  • @cdltpx Why would you want to end imports thats a terrible thing i couldnt imagine a world with out racing or pure engine cars fuck hybrids they are terrible cars with no performance

  • @dogeatme They do well and I like diesel cars. My ideal car would be a plugin (diesel or natural gas) hybrid this combo would end imports and the fuel would not sour in the tank. Since we own a prius I don't drive my Xb as much and have started to add fuel stabilizer bc I purchase .5 tank every other month. The car is a 06 has less than 26K miles bc in this family it is considered a gas guzzler. It gets 25-30mpg the way I drive it but compared to a prius that is just too fricken high.

  • @DJVolte1 It pisses me off that they bash the prius because they save so much money that it LITERALLY can change your life. We can say we are DEBT FREE we collect more interest than we spend on fuel NO SHIT ! We drive 200K miles save OVER $32K JUST in fuel. For a car you can buy today for $23K new you can save even more in fuel. I know where there is a 05 for $7K with 181K I also know where there is an 05 with 300K miles asking $5.5K he said it runs drives great and gets 45mpg as usual.

  • @cdltpx You forgot about diesel cars...... They have an extremely long range.

  • @ghettocodmaster555 I would take the prius over any car on a long distance drive anyday. First you are going to do the speed limit if you are smart W Texas that is 80 mph at that speed my prius got 38 mpg range 450 miles. When 65mph got 48 mph that is the night time speed limit. When I stop it is for 12 gallons of fuel that means I don't have to stop pumping bc the total went above $50 I can swipe my cc and get a full tank with ease. Back on the road before you can even get fuel. Range is KING !
