Two Scotts At The Tina Turner Concert 10/3/2008 with Oprah & Tom Cruise

In addition to Tina's amazing performance, both Scotty and I were stage struck that night....guess who was in the audience????.....OPRAH!!! We saw Tina the first night she was in Chicago, and I totally forgot that Oprah was a huge fan of Tina's (Oprah's show was where I first learned that Tina was coming back on tour....stupid me!!). I was so stage struck that night....I kept missing taking video of her and Scotty kept missing taking a picture of her. And the woman doesn't sit still!!! During the break of the show....she went to the box seats to wave to the fans (we heard the roar from above) and to visit her friend Gayle along with Mr. Tom Cruise!!! Before Tina's 2nd act was about to begin, Oprah came back to her seat (she was sitting about 27-30 rows away from us), I managed to get a glimpse of our girl as she walked by us.....FINALLY. In the video, you will see her walking with her arm around a little boy in a blue and white tied-eye shirt/jacket. You have to look carefully though!!! Right behind her, Gayle and Tom Cruise follow about 30 seconds later. You can't see Gayle, but you will see a glimpse of Tom...the lights from someone's camera flashes and you see his face.....right before the lights go out for Tina's next performance. Now, in case you all didn't believe me....Tina at least confirms later in the video that Oprah is in the audience. A very magical night for me!!! ***For all those trivia buffs: I later found out that the little boy that Oprah was walking with, is Tom Cruise's adopted son (from his marriage with Nicole Kidman). Tom was also with his mother, who happens to be a Illinois resident (his mother lives in Burr Ridge).

scotty me and my daughter was at this concert on row 3 seats 13-14. we flew from dallas to chicago for the event!!!!! it was my daughters 32 birthday. we were as excited as you were. it was amazing to say the least. she was living in austin tx and myself in a small town sulphur oklahoma. thanks for sharing i will conitnue to look and find us Hahaha
