@shadow0106 I don't think that the focus of the argument is on the use of marijuana, as being something detrimental... it's rather that the use of marijuana is associated with the illegal traffic of marijuana, wich, itself, is associated with the ilegal traffic of heavier drugs.... these activities generate social corruption, social exploitation, violence and suffering.

You can't generalize from even a large fraction of policemen to the Police in general. And Foucaeult doesn't serve as a good reference, since the problem is not one of systemic depression favoured by discriminating law. It is a social process and a lack of control structures and the total incapability of the law enforcement structures to keep track with an ongoing destructive process in the social evolution.

@herbigame You can explain Foucault, but you miss the point of the scene in the movie. The students are presenting a scholl project... since this is a movie, it doesn't mater if the idea fits perfectly with Foucault's explanations (and that could be argued). More importantly, it serves as an introduction to the topic of social corruption.

@wellington logo no início quando vi os estudantes protestando(mas ainda sem saber o início da história direito) fiquei até orgulhoso pq pouco antes quando vi os estudantes no Chile fazendo reinvidicações justas por melhorias no sistema público d ensino superior, fiquei me perguntando pq os estudantes no Brasil n tinham o mesmo tipo d iniciativa. Depois, quando fiquei sabendo q o motivo da revolta dos estudantes foi o simples fato da policia ter reprimido maconheiros na USP DAÍ CAÍ NA REAL.
