Fired a Glock 19, Beretta 92FS Inox 9mm, S&W M&P 9, Sig P229(only a couple shots fired, FTE problems,) Sig P239 and a Glock 17 Gen. 4

My first time all around and had fun. Actually wanted to try Springfield XD/m 9, FNP 9 and a CZ 75 SP-01 but there were none available to shoot.

Looks like I tend to shoot down and to the left. Most evident when I shot with the glock 19.
Sig P239 was my favorite to shoot even though at first I couldn't really handle it.
Beretta 92FS was pretty accurate for me as well but it was noticeably heavier than everything else I tried.
The S&W performed well as well but I don't know- it didn't leave an impression really.

Feel free to comment and critique!

All targets were fired at from 7 yards.

  • If this is your first time shooting, I would start out at 5 - 7 yds and work your way back as you get better. Also if your hitting down and to the left, it could be the placement of your finger on the trigger and your breathing. Hold your breath when shooting and put the trigger between the tip and first line of your index finger. Shooting at 10 yds is difficult especially when you first start out.
