I put this video together as a gift to Barry McGuire. I do not claim to be a Christian, however, I do believe in God and Jesus and thank them both for each day to grow closer to them. I try to live my life in such a way that when I face GOD, I won't be ashamed. I am not trying to convert anyone, just merely trying to show how close we may be to the End Times. Eddie Hartshorn

@TheHonda550 "I too know what's it like to lose great friends. I agree this song once belonged to a different generation. However, do not great songs of the past get "discovered" by new generations? Barry continues to sing this song at his concerts, not just for "us" old folks, but because it carries a powerful meaning. Too bad you didn't see the true meaning in the video. @chrissykreuton "Proud to inform you my friend, it most certainly is my video and I can prove it should I need to. Granted I used news clips, but how more powerful could it be without facts from the news? I am the sole person who put this video together. I have the unedited clips to prove it, even should this mean I am persecuted or prosecuted in a court of law for doing so. Throw your stones, I do not mind. I am proud of my work and happy I was able to share this with Barry in person."

I remember those times well.Today when I look into the faces of my grandchildren,am done a courtesy by a teenager,see the gentle goodness of much of my fellow man around me..when I see collage students and young people Midnight Mass,then I know this old world is not in its last spin.Trust in God.

just one thing about your description...... You don't claim to be a Christian yet you say you believe in God and Jesus. When you meet God, He may ask you why do you deny Me? Just as in the story of Paul (Peter?), he denied Jesus three times. So pick one friend... either you ARE a Christian, or you AREN'T. sorry for preaching but i had to say it...
