"L'Europe, rève ou cauchemar? La migration à travers la peinture"
Sous ce motto dans un cadre d'échange interculturelle entre Benin et l'Allemagne l'organisation "Arts Vagabonds Rezo Africa Benin" avait encouragé 11 jeunes étudiants des beaux arts à la SOS- ESMA École Secondaire des Métiers d'Arts SOS-Abomey-Calavi de Benin d'exprimer leurs propres imaginations sur la migration entre Afrique et l'Europe. Les oeuvres des ces artistes examinent tous les aspectes differentes de ce sujet: les raisons socio-économique pour quitter la patrimoine, les rêves des migrants, les perils en route et naturellement les faux attentes à l'Europe que malgré sa prospérité et ses chances offrits n'etaits jamais un pays de cocagne. Ces peintures etaient eposées en Quebec, Ottawa, et jusqu'au 24. novembre en Berlin. Autres expositions sont en train de suivre. "(Alp)traum Europa? oder die Migration im Spiegel der Malerei"
Unter diesem Motto setzten sich im Rahmen eines interkulturellen Austauschs, organisiert durch den Verein "Arts Vagabonds Rezo Africa Benin" 11 junge Kunststudenten der ESMA École Secondaire des Métiers d'Arts (Kunstfachschule) SOS-Abomey-Calavi de Benin mit dem Thema der Emigration von Westafrika nach Europa auseinander. Die Gemälde der Studenten beleuchten die verschiedenen Aspekte dieser Migration wie die sozioökonomischen Bedingungen, die Gefahren und die Hoffnungen, aber auch falschen Erwartungen an Europa, welches trotz seiner Chancen nie ein Schlaraffenland war. Diese Bilder wurden bisher an verschiedenen Orten, wie Quebec, Ottawa und zuletzt Berlin gezeigt. Weitere Austellungen werden folgen. "Europe, dream or nightmare"
Under this title 11 young students of fine art of the secondary school of arts SOS-Abomey-Calavi de Benin were encouraged by the organisation "Arts Vagabonds Rezo Africa Benin" inside a intercultural exchange to occupie themselves with the subject of the migration between Africa and Europe. Their 56 paintings exhibit the different aspects of this migration by the personal view of their artists: the social-economic motivations of west african emigrants to leave their homeland, their hope of welfare on Europe, all the risks and dangers on the way and also their false expectations to the continent of their dreams. These pictures partially were so far exposed in France (Paris), Canada (Quebec, Ottawa) and Germany (Berlin).
