  • That was quite wonderful to listen to. His passion came through in spades and I'm quite inspired to read this book. I hope others feel the same.

  • I like his intense delivery, but he sadly lacks any sense of humor, without humor it becomes a a very dry and soulless monologue, especially sad because the book is full of humor

  • @kirschrot77 I haven't read the book, but this talk by Robert Adams is *full* of humour. I found it captivating from start to finish, and I love the style of the talk. I have no doubt Adams appreciates and understands the humour contained in the novel. An inspiring talk. I shall read the book. I just have to decide whether to read the Gourmet first.

  • Very inspiring to listen to him unfolding the story with a lot of interesting background. Thank you for posting it.

  • very nice... but beware that he gives away the entire story... so if you are planning to read the book, that's a bit of a bummer

  • fantastic book and wonderful to listen to the review by Robert Adams...Very nice

  • I have never seen a more pompous, pretentious, pedantic poseur.
