@jmldspt Yeah I agree. I don't see how they went from Viva La Vida to that. But every band is given a flop! Lol. Even U2 has had some flops ;D
-
@InATelescopeLens I agree that Coldplay deserves some credit for their past work. But their last album is like a disaster.... :S

@JoRu94 no no i just saw U2 here im not denying the 360 tour was insane, im just saying Coldplay are massive as well these days but sure U2 are just on another level and have been for many many years now
-
@weza321 Coldplay's doing VERY well, but as soon as you start to compare them to what currently is the biggest band in the world that just finished the highest grossing tour ever by a huge margin, then you're out on deep water.

@daveyddunne thats funny coz i just bough tickets to a coldplay concert for 100,000 thousand people in Johannesburg ?? thats hardly a small show and considering U2 played the same gig in feburary this year Coldplay are doing pretty well
-
why can't we just accept that U2 and coldplay are both great bands? i love both
-
@daveyddunne Wow, calm down dude. Clearly U2 has had more experience and has covered more ground than Coldplay, but don't call Coldplay a bad band. Obviously they'll never be as legendary as U2, but in a world full of Katy Perrys, Lady Gagas, rap-crap hip-hop schmucks, and disney tween-pop stars, I'm glad a band that writes its own music is out there these days. To add to that, they're not terrible AND they're creative. Don't be delusional yourself.

i love this, makes me proud to be part irish, bono must really love his wife <3
You are dillusional, Coldplay are currently playing in half empty arena's around the states right now, Coldplay are currently together 11 years now, when U2 were formed 11 years it was 1989, they were in the middle of a european and an australasian tour "Love town" having SOLD OUT stadiums yes stadiums.. we're talking 70,000 plus here across the states... and europe too with the joshua tree tour, They had broken america. Coldplay cant even sell out arenas. That is just 1 of many facts icould use

Chris Martin play the piano much better that Bono, but Bono is much better as singer because he has more sweet voice and writes better songs.
