Arcadia's Best: Westfield Santa Anita Parking 12-14-07

With construction of the upscale outdoor Promenade mall expansion taking away hundreds of parking spaces on the southwest side of Westfield Santa Anita, administrators have taken multiple steps to ease parking and traffic challenges for shoppers during the holidays, including placing human traffic directors at parking lot intersections, adding employee and customer parking spaces at adjacent Santa Anita Park, and providing two "stretch" electric golf-type carts to shuttle shoppers back and forth from their cars to the mall.
