Violin Hip Hop Loop

Nil By Mouth - EP Launch. Q Bar, Oxford Arts Factory. 03/07/09. Sydney

What could have been a disaster turned out to be my first solo looping gig. The set was improvised on the night. The Naked Parade were all ready to support the winning band of the 2009 MMM unsigned band competition. Our singer had been ill and in an attempt to make herself better tried swallowing a whole clove of garlic.... which went down the wrong way and she ended up in hospital...needless to say we couldn't cancel. The show went on... except with 1/5th of the band! The violinist - looping.

The Nil By Mouth Drummer, Jordan helped out by laying down the beat for me. I used my Line 6 - M13 for all the effects and loops. Apologies for the crap sound... it was LOUD.

OK - so my octaves suck and this loop didn't go quite to plan, but this is my first ever live looping gig on stage...so be nice :P
