Gears of War 3 BETA - Team Deathmatch on Checkout - [V1 - 04192011]

-So the gears of war 3 beta just got released today.
-I decided to record my first time experiences to showcase to those who haven't gotten the beta yet.
-And for those who do, what are your thoughts so far?
-As for me, it is fun but I'm not impressed.
-It feels like this should have been what Gears 2 MP should have been.
-Movement hasn't dramatically changed, but I notice a bump in speed when running (not sprinting).
-There are still hiccups with getting into cover sometimes, but it can't be helped since there are so many parameters to account for.
-For the most part, team death match works well for the series, but I really miss execution mode.
-I feel like it is way too easy to kill an enemy now since the machine guns are powered up pretty well.
-The active reloading is more difficult to hit for me, maybe in time I'll get it 90 percent of the time like I did in gears 2 (even without looking at the meter lol).
-The digger launcher is crazy OP and can be annoying.
-The gorgon turned full auto smg.
-The lancer is my new preferred rifle, the retro lancer has absolutely NO range which sucks.
-Iron sights for the hammer burst is nice, but the little white reticle is just awful and distracting.
-I mean if you're going to put iron sights, leave the cross hairs to be iron sights! (not this little white dot!).
-Chainsawing takes awhile to rev up before chain sawing - which is a good thing - but it is still very easy to chain saw someone still.
-The retro lancer lunge system is hilarious when your character yells like an idiot.
-BOLTOK is like my favorite weapon just cause I love high powered magnums haha.
-Everything else is pretty much the same as in gears 2 with tweaks here in there.
-The sniping zoom has changed - love it or hate it - i'm whatever about it since I barely get to use it.
-For the most part, the game plays A LOT more frantic and faster aced due to the pool of lives in TDM.
-No real connection lag now since it's on dedicated servers.
-People are still trying to play like its Gears 2 with the shotgun, but I laugh at them while I chill back and take them out with my lancer.
-The new sawed off shotgun is whatever - it fires too slow and if you miss your screwed.
-I prefer the good old gnasher shotgun.
-I guess that's about it?

This is only the beta and its fucking AWESOME!!!!
