  • Yes, great demo of the Canon C300 capabilities, as well as vfx guru Sam Nicholson. I'm sure Canon shelled out a bucket of cash for it. But the kind of thing that really irks indie filmmakers everywhere with zero budgets, in that as far as story telling, directing, acting goes it's on the scale of high school media arts class. Nicollette Sheridan can act, but you would never know it by this heavy handed directing and on-the-nose dialog. C300 = 5 stars. Sam Nicholson, don't quit your day job.

  • @76SRV190 They're just demonstrating the camera's performance, not trying to make an Oscar winner. They did a good job.

  • @Joni0001984 Not sure about the bitrate, I think you are seeing compression artifacts. And I am pretty sure this camera does employ the 5DMKII chipset. However, when you look at the specs, it is only 8.3mp, so unless they way over rated the 5D MKII chipset in the DSLR, as in called it 18mp after interpolation, then this is not a 5D MKII chipset. I have a contact at Canon who is great so I'll ask him.

  • Well, it looks good. But the shameless rip off of Blade Runner, one of the best motion picturs of all time, is pretty bad. I will also say the acting and dialoug are pretty bad. I like the way the camera looks for a entry level HD video camera. The cheese FX spoil the imagery though.

  • Bad bitrate. Looks like 5D MKII.

  • パロディとしてみればいいのか?全てにおいてB級以下だが、安価でこれだけの表現が出来るのはスゴイ。

  • Brilliant work.

  • Wow!!!! This is amazing!!! Fantastic job you guys, the production quality in this is outstanding. Seriously great job.

  • Wow, Canon EOS C300 rocks. And a tribute to the crew of making this awesome film test. Shot in ISO 3200 and no noise. Breathtaking.

I am going to push my humble Canon 60D to the limits from now on :-)

  • Who said you need 444 for green screen...
