Since Coles values profit above all else I created an advert for Coles Supermarket to use after the coming Apocalypse and/or Rapture.

During the milk and price wars of 2011, the desperate scramble for consumer spending between Coles and Woolworths, triggered a social, political and economic apocalypse.

When they came for the dairy farmers I did nothing.....

So if you are roaming the Post Apocalyptic landscape, trying to feed your family, remember that you can get all your supplies at Coles and the prices will be down and staying down.

And if you are penned up in your underground bunker by giant rats and rabbid wallabies remember you can shop online at Coles http://coles.com.au/ now with delivery!

This is a culture jamming satire and parody advert and as such is protected under the Australian Copyright Amendment Act of 2006.

At least my ad is not as bad as the Coles TV Ad - Curtis with Normie Rowe - No Added Hormone Beef ad. Yikes!

  • @Youcanonacanon maayybbee ;)

  • @Youcanonacanon Then why would Coles put prices on their post apocalypse TV ad?

  • @VJSepp No, because the money has no value! And even if it did, the whole banking system would collapse so you would not have access to any of your money anyway. It would likely all disappear.

  • @Youcanonacanon Ah I see now, so after the apocalypse you take your money out of the bank and buy assets with it.
