Cavuto sounds a bit like Fozzie Bear off the Muppets. Wakka wakka wakka!

so why can't young people pay a premium to buy into medicare? It will still be much, much cheaper than the american health insurance plans. I know conservatives* conservatives* not rinos in washington state who want single payer. they just can't afford the premiums or copays anymore. they're not blind.

@phey120 What makes you believe that health care is a human right? Where are you from?
-
@phey120 Yeah and if people are able to find and get cancer surgery quicker, it will help on the back end of their life span.

Cavuto is funny to watch... Weiner runs circles around his argument. Wonder why they cut it off early... ha The only people that hate Medacaire are the ones rich enough to never need it. Coincidence that the number of people that like it is 96%, and 3% of the population is "super rich" leaving a 1% margin of error? lol

Weiner didn't even talk really during that "heated debate".
Well if you expand Medicare to everyone and create a mandate, the system is likely to cover its costs because 65 year olds use health care a lot more often then 25 year olds. By bringing everyone under this plan Medicare will be sustainable.
Also, this will only reform the financial aspect of health care, and not the supply side. Health care is not a commodity it is a human right. As a foreigner in this country I must say that now I am convinced that single payer is the way to go.
