  • Great tune from a very under-rated group. Sure, with legendary producer Snuff Garrett, they were probably more of a 'studio' group than a 'live' band, but during the 60's, who cared? Thanks for posting.

  • Another kick-butt production by Snuff Garrett! THE Unsung genius of the sixties.

  • Way back in 1973 or 74, a friend and I were at a Club in West Covina,Ca. and we got to meet these guys.. it was great.. They sat with us on their breaks.. Jerry Lewis's Son.. Gery Lewis.. was a nice guy..

  • I LOVE WHAT HIS FATHER HAS DONE FOR HUMANITY-MY BROTHER HAD A TRUETONE RECORD PLAYER WHEN I WAS 11 AND BOUGHT 33'S I WORE OUT MANY RECORDS HE RECORDED -HE WILL ALWAYS BE MY LEGEND AND HE IS ONE IN A LIFETIME-I HOPE HE IS HAPPY AND HEATHY TO-MY BEST TO YOU GARY-AND YOUR PLAYBOYS

  • This was a favorite song of mine....I would play it over and over and over...surprised my folks didn't break the record! lol

  • This song is still one of Gary's favorite recordings. It still sounds great live.

  • This is such a GREAT Song - Gary Lewis and the Playboys were AMAZING! They put out Gorgeous, catchy Music and had hit after hit!

  • the songs of gary lewis remind us of our college days with my spouse in the country we were born. thanks for the upload.

  • It's also got the same attitude as "Steppin' Stone"...but Gary, great as he could be, just couldn't sound as snotty as Micky Dolenz

  • My wife and I saw Gary Lewis & The Playboys in concert a couple of years ago, and before they sang this song, Gary introduced it as being his very favorite of all the songs they ever recorded. And I tend to agree this is the group at its best.

  • For quite awhile Leon Russell worked in the recording studio background, producing, writing & arranging material for others. Gary & the 'boys relied on his skills for solid material such as this.
