This is me shooting the Minigun from L&L Machine Gun Rentals with my 9 inch barrels and custom grip. This set up was used in "Best of the Best 3" and the 9 inch barrels were used in "Last Action Hero".

It's 308 and the barrels are fine the way they are. With full barrels this thing weighs a ton. Still with 9 inch barrels it’s nothing I would want to walk around with all day.
