Exactly - in singing, melisma is when you hold a syllable but alter the pitch (note) over time. The concept here is that you hold your connection to the source (your balance) even as your life changes from moment to moment.
Life continues to change, and as you get clear and make a stronger connection to source, your life becomes more beautiful and graceful.
