my wrx does not have traction control ..or stability. it has a driver with a heavy foot, a turbo.. and awd.

There was VDC turned ON, so you got problem to uphill. If you will VDC TURN OFF, there be no problem to uphill to hill like this. Try and you will be surprised :)

@AMinderis It wasn't me :-) And it was few years ago...so todays advices are more or less pointless... Many drivers on this set of videos were "Subaru beginners" :-)

ako tu niekto komentuje treba ine gumy... tieto su na cestu nie na tazky teren... popripade by to chcelo aspon retaze aspon na zadne, a nie motor do otacok, to zacne hrabat zachvilku... inac ti zavidim farbu, my mame srtiebornu :(

@adampitak Bylo to o tom, si vyzkoušet, jak se bude chovat auto s běžnýma gumama v netypických situacích. Nejde o to, vyjet, co nejvíc kopců. Jde o to se sžít autem v kritických situacích v prostředí, kde neohrožujeme nikoho jinýho a případně si navzájem pomáháme. Navíc v té době měl ten člověk to auto relativně nové, takže prostě akorát zjistil, že takto ne. Od toho ty srazy děláme :-)

wow. That's pretty ambitious.  I don't think I would try that with my forester, it looked pretty steep.
