  • When nature stirs she will be heard, and all of our wonders and all of our blunders are lost in a wave of her hand.

  • @toonmunger So very true. Thanks for checking it out and commenting. Chris

  • What a destructiveness Sun, Wind and Water could produce ! Absolute unbelievable ! Actually we are on a spiral downward anyway ! 10 Years ago no one thought about Tornadoes in Germany ! Now we have over 30th a Year ! Not that destructive like in the USA, but bad enough ! Thanks for this video ! Shows that we are not omnipotent as we believe and acting ! The next disaster is on its way ! Damn sure, nice music Chris ! Take care ! zerrbernie
  • @Zerrbernie Thank you, when I was a child my area was never at risk for tornadoes in recent years this has changed, 90 degree weather was rare. In the US there was a third as many hurricanes. One is set to hit this weekend in the area of many of my Lighthouse videos. I hope the are no fatalities whether they be humanor lighthouse. Thanks as always. Chris

  • @rdevicsaint "Do not go gentle into that good night,

    Old age should burn and rage at close of day;

    Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

    Though wise men at their end know dark is right,

    Because their words had forked no lightning they

    Do not go gentle into that good night.

    Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright

    Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,

    Rage, rage against the dying of the light......"

  • @theawkwards Thank you for the comments. his is the only lighthouse video I've done that does not feature my photographs. I'm indebted to the brave and talented photographers of these fallen giants. Thanks again. Chris

    Such is true of my favorite lighthouses as well, I like your thought about how they would want to go out. Your comments are thoughtful as always. Chris

  • Great music and video. I remember Oklahoma.The old guy climbing down the fire brigade ladder, his face and head blackened with smoke and dust, is etched in my memory. That was 1995. Our lives seem to be measured out by milestones of tragedies and disasters, man-made and natural,and maybe the "natural" are not as "natural" as they seem or look.The old lighthouses look like felled giants. I suppose if you were a lighthouse that's the way you'd want to go -

    like a Hero. Hope you're well, Chris.
