  • In this original version there are 1/2" plywood panels that run the entire length at the bottom of each side, help in place with tabs and wedges, to resist racking along that direction.

    Our most recent version that was assembled for the Mad Housers in Atlanta has those panels on the inside and corrugated metal and translucent plastic for a skin on the outside. We'll have details on that up very soon, along with a Sketchup model in the 3d warehouse.

  • Over designed. Simple PVC piping, a little rebar and a tarp you can build the same thing. If you want a floor use shipping palettes.

  • this combined with concrete cloth would be amazing

  • Neat IDea - what about diagonal bracing to accomodate forces in the x(plane)-direction? I notice many pieces are interlocked, but it seems like it needs a diagonal cable or framing member to resist againt "racking" in the frame. Interesting Concept - I'll need to see more!
