Thanks for the video!!! We got 3 ways to sample rolled into 1 video and it was done under 5 mins. What more can you ask for? Straight to the point and you can easily follow instructions.

Hi there,
I was wondering: do you have to save those chopped up audio bits somewhere so that the ESX will be able to access them next time you open that sampled instrument? My problem is that I use the method you outlined, but when i deleted the song that I got the samples from, my sampled instrument doesnt work, because it cant find the song that Im sampling from! But I dont want to have to keep everything that I sampled for my sampled instruments to retain their samples. thanks.

@cmiranda1234 All you have to do is open the Pitch plug-in that come bundles with Logic... It allows you to change the pitch of your samples.... Just put the Pitch plug-in in an insert on your track and you can edit from there.... I actually have a video on it.. If you can't find the video I could send the link to you.... Let me know if that answers your question!!!!

so if you don't chop your samples perfectly, is there a way to edit your chops/slices?
DJTAVISLOVE 1 year ago
@DJTAVISLOVE there is... Just zoom on into your clip of audio that you chopped up and stretch back or forward until you get the exact clip of audio you were looking for... That is the beauty about Logic.... It is non-destructive editing.... Means you can always bring in other parts of the audio even when you cut it!!! Let me know if that answers your question...
