  • I LOVE THE UPLOADER FOR THIS TUNE AND THIS TIME!.... ENGLAND TILL I DIE!!!

  • the song that won best England world cup song 2010 is called Come on England lets all stand together. Not sure if i like this one more. its the airline song

  • can't believe my brother had a picture disc of this and it got lost when we moved i used to play both sids all the time it was first time i'd seen a picture disc

  • wasnt there a full album?

  • @RoadCone411 - I had the single it was officially a double a side, but the other side - "This Time( we'll get it right)" was listed first and got much more airplay

  • See the YouTube clip titled 'James Bond Moonraker Cable Car & Ambulance Scene'. Toward the end is a British Airways billboard that a Bond bad guy (not Jaws) crashes into...

  • British Airways definitely had the song first, it was used throughout the late 1970s and early 1980s as part of their radio and tv advertisements and even as a tagline on their billboard ads. I believe one such billboard is seen in the Bond film Moonraker as Jaws crashes through it, but I may be wrong...

Not sure how or who thought it would be a good football song. Living in the UK in 1982 and remembering this WC, I can't say I remember this song at all!

  • I seem to remmebr this was actually a British Airways song for an advert before it became an England football song. Anybody confirm this or disagree?

  • Who would have thought that a bunch of footballers could sing? But hey they actually sounded like they pulled it off with this one, some great harmony!

Really good to hear this song again, and the quality in your sound is brilliant. Nice one.

  • class! thanks for the upload
