after watching this piece for 10th time i've just realised, that the middle, slowly part Chopin was inspired by our old and famous christmas song "Lulajże Jezuniu"!
amazing how a composer can speaks to us by music language.

@audreyhsux5727 there are fast passages; with lots of figures in some bars. But of course, it doesn't sound as the toccata I had in mind; more like a ballad. These musicological terms are not black and white, a scherzo can be dark and ominous and toccatas can be slow. Now I am lost.

my favourite chord in the whole song is the one at 0:34, after the 3 bass notes dum dum dum DUM sounds so nice, almost jazzy i love it
