The Black Darkness

My goal with The Black Darkness was to show the atmosphere and difficult working circumstances in the Dutch mines, in the beginning of the 20th century. Circumstances which still exist to this day in some coal mines... I remixed an old movie about the Dutch coal mines (available under creative commons). I also mixed in my own animations (made with Adobe After Effects) to enhance the atmosphere. The Dutch version of this video won the 3rd prize in the 'Celluloid Remix' contest.
