A WORLD FIRST!!

A live motion capture display using Kinect by E.V.P at the Wildthings Records label party @ Jacks Club in London 15/01/2011. The crowd were amazed by the dancing robot during the debut liveset of label manager Beardy Weardy.

Using a Kinect with Open NI and Brekel our hero's drivers E.V.P was able to drive a custom built robot with no markers, just the use of the primesense Kinect 3D depth camera to track skeletal movement and a standard PC with a good graphics card.

The event was an excellent success with a fantastic production, crowd & music.

Yeah... That robot went on for AGES! I didn't realise that it was a Kinect...

This also explains all the omputer things that kept popping up.
