And I totally agree with you - some people just can't handle people being successful because they're not - at least not on a larger level as a writer, or a musician, would be. I pray to God writing does work out for me. Only time will tell, I suppose.

There are lots of people who want you to fail so they can feel better about themselves. I think we all need to find our own path, but the real point is to keep trying things until you find something you want to do and that you are good at too. I hope writing works out to be that something for you. Great post! Made me think.

@RandomFactor2000 Yes, that is most definitely possible. In fact I know a lot of people that would be quite upset with my success. Obviously if they're fellow writers, they'd be envious - it's common nature, I assume. However, even if they are, I'd still like to think they'd be happy for me. Plus it's a friend in the publishing industry - that might come in handy. ;)

Hey there ILRP! Haven't chatted in a long long while, but Iove your points in this video! The whole point about people backing off if we mention wanting to get published, I liked that because I came up with a result for the reason they are sketchy about it. Is it possible that some people don't want us to be published because they may be jealous of our success? IDK just a thought. Anyway, keep making these awesome vids and I can't wait to read your books in the future and hopefully vice versa.
