Part 1 performance of And the Congregation Sez... Sean Sullivan, choreographer; Michael Bellar, composer & keys; Andrew Hall, bass; Jamie Moore, Drums. North Carolina School of the Arts Winter Dance, 2003.
it is actually a very different school. dancers can start as early as 7th grade, traveling there for classes 5 days a week. it has official grades 8,9,10,11,12 and full 4 year university bacherlor's degree colledge as well a s a few masters programs. if fate really lines you up weird, you can end up going there for 9 years... like my poor friends travis, breanne or janey. supercool place to grow up tho.
ncsa was an amazing experience. i was in the crowd for this one, and now one of my friends, an alumnus, teaches dance adjunct there. i just saw a performance yesterday morning of her first finished class. amazing.
what's more was that the music was live. fantastic. they never ceased to blow me away, my friends and fellow students there. that school will change your life. teach you about who you are and what you really want out of life. and it will give you the best friends you've ever had.
I'm in 6th grade, but I want to go to NCSA in ninth grade hopefully! I also went to Winterfest this past month. Anyways... i think you all are awesome!!
it was a high school WAAAAYYYYY before it was a college...

NCSA is an arts conservatory. The school has had children as young as 10 in dance classes. I went at 15....in 1965
