@MaryLiberaDaSempre She says: "Vincent, I care about you so deeply" (deeply, meaning a lot ). Then she tells him: "but a part of me is unhappy and we both know why". Meaning they both know that they can never be together because of the different lives they lead and because his unusual looks would never allow them any peace from a world full of cruel and curious people. Hope this helps.
