The destruction of the Death Star was an inside job, so that the Empire could get away with invading Endor. No one would've accepted invading a moon full of cute little teddy bears otherwise.

Love this scene - just one thing. Why didn't they send in fighters to attack the 3 Imperial fighters from behind at the start? Were they too busy attacking away from the channel? It would only take one fighter behind to create a problem - but far less exciting of course!!
