The UFC is bringing Strikeforce heavyweight champion Alistair Overeem into the Octagon, and welcoming him with a bout against the promotion's biggest star, Brock Lesnar.
UFC President Dana White confirmed on Twitter that Overeem vs. Lesnar will take place on December 30 in Las Vegas

@Mackaveali The media overhypes every figher. Every fighter is beatable. This is a sport where Youth and atleticism usually prevails. Overeem is turning 32 this year. usually fighters in the HW div decline with age. JDS is 4 years younger than Overeem. I can see JDS beating OVereem at some point in time. MaybeJ DS won;t beat him now, but if he faces OVereem when Overeem turns 34, he will have an advantage. Don't mention Randy Couture, he's a rare anomoly.
