Herrmann Ultrasonics, offers an ultrasonic cutting disk that significantly improves the productivity and quality of cutting and slicing operations. Bakery products can be cut immediately after baking, when they are still warm which until now has been difficult to manage. Cutting with ultrasonics reduces product waste and provides a clean cut that typically extends product shelf life. The Sonodisk can also be used for other cutting and slicing operations such as meats and cheeses. When used to cut cheese, scrap from cutting block edges is greatly reduced and crumbs are minimized, all resulting in higher throughput, less waste and crumbs ultimately leading to improved production efficiency.
