Ah, memories... I couldn't figure out how to make it stop beeping, so I enlisted the help of my friends. After trying to unscrew the back to get the batteries for about 30 minutes (we were just little kids, and had the wrong screwdriver), we settled on just smashing the hell out of it with the pointed tip. Problem solved, no more beeping.
