Hopefully Barack will win the election. If not, then it's definitely time to open up the US elections to international observers. I'm given to the notion that perhaps positive change might still be possible for America.

BTW, a lot of medical problems can be prevented. A healthy diet - that means lots of vegetables, fruits and whole grains - and regular exercise are your frontline defense against disease. Get movin', y'all!

as you know there are two main competing factions. as a democrat i believe in sharing social responsibility so yes. we should have universal health care and yes, katrina was americas problem. but i dont want the church nor big corporations stomping on our rights or given any special treatment. yet, republicans believe in economic freedom (less gov) and religious moral guidance. in competing we maintain balance. that is how our democracy is set up. it's more complex than you make it out to be.
