  • This is the second time I notice the green Halo effect, looks that is a problem from the camcorder.

  • Hi. Yes this is a major problem. I was recomended the Canon 14x lense so tha was my bought but i still have this problem. I am going to contact JVC to ask them about this. Andy

  • The halo effect is called lens flare, not CA.

  • I have this camera with the Canon lens, It has very bad chromatic aberration. Also has the green halo problem too. Otherwise the camera is very good.

  • What setting was this shot on? 24p? 60p?

    Or did you mess with the color in editing?

  • Was this with the 17x Fujinon lens? The 16x Fujinon that came with the GY-HD100, HD110, and the HD200 was known for that color fringing problem, it's called Chromatic Aberration or CA for short. I have seen some footage from a GY-HD100 using the Fujinon that had no CA.
