Forgot to mention, the reason I brought up the fact I had another Vulcan 750 was that it had the same problem with the front suspension as well.

I have an '05 Vulcan 750 as well. Why don't you ride your bike more often? Only 1000 miles?
Does your bike have a weak front suspension like mine? Mine dives even in light breaking. I also had an '87 Vulcan 750 which I gave away cause it was all rusted.
