  • Students don't need to worry about portable textbooks. Unless they have an backpack on their back's. Who cares about iPad's are portable in leraring. iPad's are thin but big that look like a tablet. iPad's and tablets are not portable because their thin but big. How can you put and iPad on a packet in studens bags?!?!

  • YAY WONT HAVE TO CARRY SO MANY TEXTBOOKS

  • Apple is a technology for rich. It can never bridge the infra gap.

  • @tyculbert stuff from google/android is also for free. unfortunately there is not the aim to bring quality and benefits to people, but to make money out of them... for marketing reasons. sorry, no point for free stuff. 2) marketing: is a desperate strategy to promote products which are otherwise not sold. I am very open minded, but these kind of strategies are not: building products for a particular system/software only. In the end: stock holders happy, 3rd world workers ill. sorry.

  • @de01e everything they are offering here is free... except the text book you buy - but schools need to buy the physical text books too right? So how is this making them significantly richer? And as for the marketing comment - that is a basic part of any business. How will anyone know about a product if you dont market it? Do you honestly not see how great this sort of stuff can be for education? Be a little more open minded stop being selfish. This is a good thing. Open your eyes.

  • @vampired305 I forgot what my comment was but i did not try to fail *anyway*

  • Combine textbooks with video-games !
