Gospel music, rock n' roll swagger, a dash of soul and syncopated style are at the heart of this uplifting spectacle. Set in modern day America it is a radical reworking of Sophocles's tragedy Oedipus at Colonus.

@mariavasilei Even more of a shame that such a wonderful musical should be judged simply by its mode of storytelling, and not by its merit. Ancient Greek drama has begat far far worse, and will not be besmirched by this even if it were as bad as you imply.
