This week I want to talk about bisexuality and how it is overlooked in the discussion of coming out.

  • Is Mr.Oakley gay? Or bi? Honestly I couldn't care if someone's gay, straight or bi, as long as their happy then that's good for them n__n

  • @iluvyewsodamnmuch Totally agree!

  • Very cool! Looking forward to the rest of this series!

  • @tadshackles Thanks! It'll be up soon.

  • The alienation of homosexuals and bisexuals is confusing to me. One would think that all the lessons humankind has learned in the past regarding the persecution of people of specific races or creeds would set off some alarms.

  • @TheAnonymous185 It's unfortunate, but it's going to be the same as we look at slavery now. We are repulsed by the close minded people of the past. We are now those people that others will pity in the future.

  • @heyitsmairead Thanks! You brought up some great points in your video.

  • Great video! I touched upon the same topic in my response to Tyler Oakley!

  • @hansonfan97 That's great that you took that step. And it's always going to come down to when you feel comfortable doing it. It's definitely something you should share with your partner, but with parents it's really going to be your choice. If it ever comes to a point where it feels like you aren't being true to yourself, that's when it becomes a problem. Thanks for your comment, and thanks for your courage.

  • I just came to terms with my bisexuality back in January. I kept denying it and finally e-mailed my gay best friend and told him in the wee hours of January 1st.

I came out today on FB....but I blocked certain people from seeing it.

I'm not ready for my mom to know yet. Or ever.

I don't know, I still want a relationship with a guy, so I feel like she doesn't have to know this small piece of who I am.

    But, everybody else knows.

    And it's such a relief.
