Saw this at supercarsaturdays, my absolute dream car

wtf 822 hp

@madman8718 The issue ended up being the size of the master cylinder. Swapped it out (sorry, but i dont remember the sizes) for a different size and it's way easier to drive since this vid was shot.
the clutch that's in it works just fine...

y didn't u just use a twin, or triple disc clutch? smooth engagement and power holding, especially if your driving it on the street
-
@leloodallasmultipass Yeah, 1st gear is geared for close to 60mph at redline. The car is light but the clutch is pretty 'grabby' so it would be hard on the entire drivetrain especially the clutch.

@DaleTail do you need to use first on the dyno? I am a little unfamiliar with the process. I had a porsche 914 with a chevy small block in it and I usually just skipped first but that was for driving around town, not testing the power.
what mods were done to the tranaxle to hold all that power down? as i understand the standard turbo axles can only withhold 600hp before damage is done, your work is amazing by the way, i love it when the banners fly off! lol!

@anoldmanc California Motorsports built it (google them), steel & billet parts throughout, not sure on the particular mods. We broke the standard Ultima axles/stub-shafts with 500hp, we have an 'unbreakable' set that is proven to over 1000hp.
thanks for the compliment! :)

Is it possible for a Ultima GTR to hit 7 or 8 seconds quarter mile? All I have seen are in the high 9 sec range...

@FT86TT Since most Ultima's have different HP engines from eachother, its hard to say. A lower powered one could hit as "slow" as a 12-sec 1/4 mile. Since Ultima's are set up for road racing, their suspension design & stiffness isn't great for drag racing.
ET (elapsed time, or seconds) is relative to traction.
Speed is relative to horsepower.
If you look at my other vids, you'll see that this Ultima went 145 in the 1/4 mile. A drag car (with good traction) would hit 8's for sure w/that HP.
