MeeGo Handset UX weekly 1.0.80.15.20100817.1

Today the MeeGo dev team released a new weekly build for the n900. Here is the current state of the UX. A nice widget demo app shows various buttons, bars and sliders.

@cptcrogge those are actually magnets, they are to trick the n900 into thinking the cover is on so it will read the sd card.

This is why Nokia uses harmattan-meeGo example in N9 that was announced in 2008.

Like watching grass grow or paint dry - extremely slow.

They have a loooooooong way to go to make it usable.

It's slow because it is an early version of the Software. Will be substantially more snappy in a short while. I played around with this too, and I really like the look and feel. It felt a bit faster on the device I used.
