This is a work in progress of a remake of an old DOS game called Mice Men. (copyright 1992 Soleau Sofware)
The object of the game is to get all the mice on your team over to the enemy's side before the enemy manages to get their mice over to your side. This is done by moving columns up and down to let your mice pass or to prevent enemy mice from passing. Any column with one of your mice on it can be moved. (except the plunger last pulled)
This game is coded in C++ and uses the Windows GDI for displaying graphics. I decided to remake this game for two reasons. Firstly, there isn't a handy 32-bit desktop version of this game that I'm aware of. Secondly, I thought it would be a good way to improve my programming skills. I can't promise this will be used for anything more than my CV, however.
This version currently lacks scoring and AI, which I hope to add in later. It also has several bugs - some of which are visible in the video - that need to be worked through. (such as mice not moving when columns are raised or lowered)
Video captured with VirtualDub and encoded with VIDEOzilla.
do you know how you can play this game now? cant find a genuine link anywhere!
