@cdang1 Do you think during a war that a country could worry about many things like this? Im sure the Brittish were having trouble enough during WWII than to waste resources traveling all that way to protect Singapore. How about a dig at the Japanese for killing you lot? Thankfully I think your backward thinking type is of the few in Singapore. A lot of Brittish I know dont boast about their country all the time and they are nice. So dont be derogatory please.

this video is very much misguided the british empire left singapore when we needed them the most during WWII.they left the locals at the hands of the japanese for dead..there is so much suffering.So when the British wanted to come and rule Singapore after the war , we kick them out.British uses singapore as a place to generate profit....the officals are not interested to upgrate the standard of living n education of locals here. This video is not very much the truth, there is alot of cut n paste

Lee Kuan Yew feels like such a humble and rational person in this video. Goddammed, I wish our leaders today would be more like him in foresight and wisdom instead of just being idiots who give excuses for their mistakes all the time. I feel that this is a new generation of leaders who are beginning to let down the people of Singapore... Singaporeans should not be begging on the street dammit! I wish our leaders would get their act together, go back to basics and find some proper solutions.
