At that time A.I. was much better than Kobe, some of you must've never seen him play in college or his rookie year...he was a beast, check his highlights...they're on here. Yes eventually Kobe has become a better player but that was the best pick at that moment, btw, A.I. did win ROY not Kobe. And despite everything A.I. is going through now, he will be a 1st ballot Hall of Famer in a few years...numbers don't lie.
