That six speed automatic transmission is the reason why, 60 miles per hour at a lil over 1,000 rpm, that's real nice, and that's what you're supposed to do when you do an engine swap into an older model car, like take for instance my 84 Monte Carlo, you're supposed to drop in a 4 speed automatic with overdrive, or if you wanna be different with it, drop in that T-56 speed manual trans, talk about fuel economy?, that's a winner.

Why don't you do it the traditional way? Record the number of miles, fill up and divide the miles by the gallons of gas? A computer like that is not the most accurate tool. I had a car once tell me I was getting 34MPG, did the math myself and was actually getting 29MPG.

whats the name of the track that begin before the test yo

its basically cause the gear ration cause its all about top speed not acceleration if u put 4.10 in the vette then it would drink alot of gas but regardless that pretty damn impressive i9 would drive a corvette that gets 32 mpg over a gay homo toyota anyday

i love how kids argue that their civic with 300hp gets better fuel economy than a 500hp v8 (just an example), but when the v8 gets the same or better, theres always an excuse...who the FUCK cares about fuel economy, if you can afford the gas, youre going to drive something that uses more. if you cant afford the gas, you drive a civic.

@Wowmasta21 yeah cruising on your shitty freeways in top gear. in real combined cycles its mpg is complete shit. LET'S GO.
-
@volnick1986 Sorry but a horsepower car like that with higher mpg than jap cars is a big
-
@Wowmasta21 Yeah. You get 31 mpg driving it at 1500 revs and doing 60 mph. Is that why you buy a Corvette? That was my point.
The combination of aerodynamics, hp, gearing, and weight all play a key in this. I'm a Ford guy, this is the only Chevy I would ever consider buying!

I want to see a most realistic highway speed, like 75-80. Does the fuel economy stay the same?
