HSC Extension 2 Major Work 2007

Sudden traumatic bereavement is an incomprehensive aspect of life. Young (and seemingly random) death is the most difficult to grasp. When someone you love dies, you are overcome by intense disbelief. Moving from shock to anger to immense sadness, one can only hope to turn the corner eventually and reach a cathartic acceptance of death.

  • HKAL just a thought but now with youtubes new laws you can put the song back on this video

  • This is a masterpiece.

  • I turned this on while watching the video so I could get the song too, and oh my god, I just have to tell you...this is absolutely brilliant. You captured the emotion of the song so unbelievably well.

  • I wrote a short story about this song but Sarah was a girl he fell in love with when they were friends. On the night of prom she said "love is watching someone die" on the steps of the school. Later far after prom Sarah had gotten into drugs and started to not be herself anymore. Sarah overdosed and the one singing the song found her and brought her to the hospital, and from then on he just sits there thinking.

  • if its been awhile since youtube called you out, you might be able to try and put sound back on again now...

  • i HATE youtube... i just can't bare to take it down though

  • this would have been watchable with the sound. hey just take it off - its stupid to leave it up here now..

  • well done mr kalaf
