  • That was a beautiful place at one time. Do you know of any old pics or videos of it from when it was in operation?

  • @markieman3000 - i've seen some old pics, but no video.

  • holy shit- those idiotic vandals burned down the nice building :( thank you so much for doing this-now i definitly know what i'm going to document this coming summer. it sucks that this happens to a place with alot of history

  • @GuitarVampire93 - near the end, when i pan the grassy area sort of 'between' the buildings, that is where the theater used to be. it got burned down, and the state filled it in and planted grass over it!

  • @BaltimoreAndOhioRR you got to be kidding me-THATS where the theater used to be? i swear i walked past that same area and didnt see anything

you know of the old Patapsco factory that was right across the street from the hospital? dad told me about that today while we were riding through the area and about how it was flooded during hurricane Agnes. i wonder if its still standing?

  • @GuitarVampire93 - i have an older vid slideshow of henryton, and i'm sure it shows the theater (and afterwards i think) not sure which factory youre talking about

  • @markieman3000 I have some....

  • Luckily I visited before most of the destruction. It was a lot of fun to walk around and look at the place. I think most of the explorer types left things alone, but the kids wrecked the joint. Good times...

  • @BaltimoreAndOhioRR from what i've found on Google, the supposed factory is located off of Henryton Rd, on the left-hand side. its the second road off to the left you pass Henryton Center Rd 1st (the original entrance to Henryton)- if you want i can give you a link to the satellite image of it

  • Was this a mental hospital? Where is it?

  • I retired from the prototype, HUDSON RIVER STATE HOSPITAL, Poughkeepsie, NY. Built 1863. Same shape as Henryton.

  • It's a shame the state of disrepair of Henryton...they need to just destroy the complex

  • cool! SUBSCRIBE TO BEMMATHULIA!!!!!(:
